Most Repat Armenia events are free to attend unless stated otherwise.

Occasionally snacks are provided, but participants are encouraged to support the venue by purchasing drinks or food.

These sessions are designed for diasporan Armenians who are planning to move to Armenia, are currently in the process of relocating, or have recently repatriated.

They are also helpful for repatriates who want to better understand the services, support programs, and resources available to them in Armenia.

Each session provides an overview of Repat Armenia’s services, as well as relevant programs and resources offered by partner organizations, state institutions, and the Repatriation and Integration Center.

Topics may include practical guidance on public systems, administrative procedures, documentation, employment, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and other areas connected to relocation and integration in Armenia.

Sessions may also include updates on relevant policies, public requirements, or recent reforms that may affect repatriates and newcomers.

The sessions are held in an interactive small-group format, usually with around 10-15 participants per session.

Each session typically includes a presentation followed by an open discussion. Participants have the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns related to their personal situations, and receive practical information from Repat Armenia, partner organizations, and relevant specialists.

Get2Know events are open to repatriates, diasporan Armenians, newcomers, international-minded locals, and anyone interested in connecting with the repatriate community in Armenia.

People often join to meet fellow repatriates and diasporans, build friendships, grow their personal or professional network, connect with like-minded people, and discover repat-owned businesses in Yerevan.

Registration is required to guarantee entry. Guests who have not registered may be asked to wait and, depending on venue capacity, may not be able to enter.

Get2Know events are mainly social gatherings designed to help people connect naturally.

Networking culture in Armenia often looks different from networking in many Western countries. It tends to be more personal and relationship-based, with trust built through time, shared experiences, and genuine connection.

Because many repatriates are looking to build community after moving to Armenia, Get2Know events are intentionally informal. They are not designed for formal pitching or structured business networking.Some events have themes, such as karaoke nights or game nights, but most are relaxed social gatherings.

Yes. Many participants attend alone, especially if they are new to Armenia or looking to meet new people.

The events are designed to be welcoming and easy to join. If you feel shy approaching others, you can speak with the event host or a member of our team at the event, and we will be happy to introduce you to people you may connect with.

Attendance usually ranges from 50 to 120 participants, depending on the season, venue, and event format.

Most participants are between 25 and 40, with a smaller but consistent group of attendees aged 45 to 55. We also vary event themes and venues throughout the year to make the series accessible and welcoming to different age groups.

People attend Meet & Greet events to hear from impact makers in their field, meet others with similar interests, explore collaboration opportunities, and learn more about initiatives shaping life in Armenia.

These events are also a chance to get inspired, discover new platforms or organizations, and better understand how people are building meaningful projects in Armenia.

Speakers are usually individuals who have created initiatives, businesses, platforms, or organizations with a tangible impact in Armenia.

They may include entrepreneurs, business owners, NGO or non-profit founders, community leaders, social entrepreneurs, and professionals leading projects in specific sectors.

Each event usually includes a presentation about the speaker’s initiative, journey, and impact, followed by a Q&A session where participants can ask questions.

Networking typically lasts 1 to 2 hours, depending on the venue and event agenda. Meet & Greet events usually bring together around 40 participants, creating a focused setting for discussion, questions, and meaningful networking.

If you know a non-profit, social enterprise, founder, community leader, organization, platform, or initiative creating meaningful impact in Armenia, you can recommend them for a future Meet & Greet event.

We especially welcome recommendations for non-profits and social enterprises working in areas such as community development, education, employment, culture, regional development, social impact, sustainability, or repatriate integration.

Discovery Tours are open to repatriates, AVC alumni, and people who are actively in the process of repatriation.

They are especially helpful for those who are interested in living outside Yerevan but find it difficult to imagine what that could look like in practice. The tours offer a chance to see local spaces, meet people in the region, and better understand whether life outside the capital could feel right for them.

No. Discovery Tours are not designed as sightseeing or tourism trips.

The purpose is to help participants visualize everyday life outside Yerevan, including where they might work, spend time, build friendships, and become part of a local community.

While participants may discover new places in Armenia, the focus is on relocation, community connection, and understanding the possibilities of living in Armenia’s regions.

You are welcome to register with a friend, but each participant is reviewed and confirmed individually. Spaces are limited, and participants are selected on a first come, first served basis, so we cannot guarantee that your friend will also receive a confirmed spot.

Discovery Tours are designed as small-group community visits, not private excursions. Participants are encouraged to meet and connect with others in the group during the tour.

If you prefer to visit a region only with your own friends, we are happy to share the itinerary where possible so you can organize the trip independently.

The group bus usually leaves from Republic Square in Yerevan.

If you live outside Yerevan, you will need to either make your way to Yerevan to join the bus or meet the group directly at the destination.

The bus driver is generally not able to pick up or drop off participants along the way, unless there is a large number of participants joining from the same location.
