BooTech CJSC, an Armenian company and a spin-off from zealousTM, was established in 2019 as a defense system integrator, specializing in development of military command and control systems.

The company is seeking for a Senior-level UI/UX Designer for pivotal military and defense projects.
Key requirement: strong emphasis on futuristic design principles and styling. The emphasis on futuristic design is crucial to ensure that our interfaces stay ahead of evolving defense tech requirements, within the military and defense industry.
Please note that this specific position does not offer a remote option; we would only consider applicants interested in working onsite from our office in Yerevan, Armenia.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with Product, Strategy, Marketing, and Tech teams to offer modern, meaningful, and inclusive product experiences for all users. Gather and evaluate user requirements with the target audience and the team above;
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the target apps function and look like, including web, mobile, desktop, and other apps. Create user personas, user journey maps, user stories, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes;
• Demonstrate high-quality design practices. This includes participation in all aspects of UX: research, ideation, strategy, interaction design, and visual design;
• Manage and lead the day-to-day activities of the team;
• Empower team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills;
• Ensure that the projects are delivered on time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years of proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer;
• Strong portfolio with at least 5 high-quality work and project samples;
• Know-how of Futuristic Design principles;
• Know-how of the tools of the trade like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, Balsamiq, Axure RP, Marvel;
• Experience with UX design for complex workflows across web, mobile, and desktop platforms, including guidelines for both iOS and Android;
• A keen eye for aesthetics and strong attention to detail;
• Experience with product delivery in agile and cross-functional teams working closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and other Designers;
• Experience in researching and analyzing user behavior;
• Knowledge of analytics tracking tools (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.) is a plus;
• Experience in building prototypes/sketches in HTML, and CSS is a plus;
• Excellent English skills, both speaking and writing.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY:
Starting 1,2mln AMD gross, and package of benefits including medical insurance.

Only candidates with a proven track record in designing for complex military and defense projects, demonstrating expertise in architectural design, will be considered. Applications from those with experience limited to simple websites and projects will not be reviewed.
